Mary Kathryn (MK to most) & Scott met 10yrs ago while working at Alternative Apparel. MK was working in the HR department where she met Scott while interviewing and eventually hired him. No interoffice romance developed (darn, that would be juicy) however, the two stayed in contact and started dating about 2yrs later and they have been together ever since. After going through a brief time apart, the two soon realized they couldn’t live without each other, and Scott planned a romantic proposal in order to get his lady back. On bended knee and complete with a helicopter ride to take the two off into the sunset, the two committed to spending the rest of their lives together and were soon planning their fall wedding.
When selecting their venue, MK & Scott knew they wanted somewhere that was an intimate and unique space. Parish just so happened to be in their neighborhood which was something else they were hoping for regarding proximity to their home. It truly turned out to be the perfect venue for these two. They wanted to incorporate a refreshing signature cocktail so they had their bartender whip up a delicious mojito for their guests, which was an absolute hit! For the florals, MK wanted small cluster arrangements in gold vases which turned out beautifully.
**Update**
MK & Scott are currently expecting their first baby, due this fall. What better way to celebrate your wedding anniversary than by becoming a family of three? I loved being part of your wedding day, and I wish the three of you all the best.
