OneTouch Events: Team Introductions

Hey there! We’re back to introduce you to another one of our fabulous team members! Please meet Russell Simon who joined the OneTouch Events Team in December 2014.

Russell was born & raised in South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Accounting from South Carolina State University.  Upon graduation, Russell relocated to Atlanta to pursue a career in the wedding & events industry (lucky for us, we scooped him up)!

We asked Russell some fun questions, so you could get to know him a little more:

What are 2 interesting facts most may not know about you?

“I make the best lasagna in the world, and I don’t know how to whistle (despite several attempts & tutorials).”

What makes you smile?

“Loving couples, babies & puppies all make me smile. Red velvet cake also makes me smile, I’m a major foodie!”

What drives you to be successful?

“My family drives me to be successful. I just want to make my momma proud.” 🙂

What are three words to best describe you?

“IMAGINATIVE – My mind is filled with over the top creative ideas. BOLD – I am far from shy. Everything from my ideas to my personal style is daring. BRIGHT – Beyond just being intelligent, I try to operate with a positive internal light everyday. “

Why do you enjoy event planning?

“I enjoy event planning because there is nothing better than transitioning someone’s dream into a reality. I love being part of someone’s happy day”

What’s your favorite part of the wedding day?

“My favorite part of the wedding day is when the couple sees each other for the first time as the bride starts to walk down the aisle. In that moment, I’m able to see the excitement, and most importantly, the love between the couple as well as all those witnessing the union.”
