Who says a rehearsal dinner has to be dinner?
Our couples are constantly inspiring us to suggest out of the box ideas for making the most out of their wedding weekend with their family and friends. One trend we’ve seen just in the past few months is the non-rehearsal dinner. Sure you still want to eat, drink and be merry, but why not think about doing so in a less than traditional format?
If you ask any of my couples, they’ll quote me verbatim that “Tradition is what you make it.”
Here are a few ideas to help you have a unique and memorable rehearsal dinner!
A) Let’s Compete: Top Golf
The lower lounge here includes two pool tables, shuffle board, three 80” HDTV’s, two Xbox Kinect consoles and lounge furniture. Perfect for having fun and being casual with your clan.
There are buffet and drink options, and even private rooms for gaming! Let’s see how your friends stack up against the competition.
B) Let’s Work Together: Escape the Room
Escape the Room is a fun, interactive entertainment concept located in downtown Atlanta. While it looks like any other ordinary room, it’s actually a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-w0rkers or strangers. What a fun way to bond with your bridal party!
C) Let’s Drink: Wine Blending – Grand Bohemian Hotel
Have you always wanted your own private wine label? Guests get to become winemakers in the Wine Blending Room, which is only offered at Kessler Collection properties in Mountain Brook and in Charleston, S.C. Aspiring vintners not only get to create their own custom blends, but they also may get their pictures taken in front of the background of their choice for their own personalized wine labels.
We hope you liked these ideas and we can’t wait to help you plan the fun!
