OTE Couple Spotlight :: April & Tony

We’re so excited for today’s OTE Couple Spotlight with April & Tony! We actually just had their gorgeous wedding but wanted to share their fun engagement session they did at their Alma Mater, Tennessee State University. April & Tony, both from Birmingham, Alabama had to travel all the way to Tennessee just to find each other. Sometimes life has a different plan for us all and it sure worked out for these two. Tony was elected Vice-President for the Alabama Club at the University and April was elected President. Since April was actually unable to attend election night before the summer term ended, they went the entire summer without meeting. Tony tried calling her all summer long to no avail, only to later find out he had the wrong number.

When the new school year began, they were at the first pep rally when Tony spotted April in the crowd (not knowing who she actually was), and made it his mission to meet her. He had also heard that April would be there and so he had a friend who knew them both and agreed to take him to meet up with April. When they showed up, his friend pointed April out and he began laughing in disbelief that she was the same woman in the crowd that he was hoping to find again later that night. So there they were, April & Tony, finally meeting for the first time and soon they became fast friends who just so happened to fall in love.
