There’s no denying that Tanisha & Jermaine have a very special connection with one another. If you are lucky enough to know these two, then you have seen for yourself first hand what true love really is. Tanisha’s best friend worked for Jermaine and when he happened to see a photo of Tanisha, she caught his eye and asked to be introduced to her. Throw in a little convincing and maybe some black mail, and his wish was granted. Once they met, they realized that they had so much in common, specifically that they both had a strong spiritual foundation.
Years later and after sharing much love and laughter together, Tanisha had just finished building a house. She planned to celebrate with a blessing of the home, but Jermaine had another blessing of his own to celebrate. He invited many more of their friends and family and oddly, Tanisha still didn’t suspect a thing. He had planned a slide show to show their guests the process that went into building the home and being the tech guy that he was, he may have faked a tech glitch and when he “fixed” it, Tanisha’s dad appeared on Skype. Still unknowing that this wasn’t just part of the blessing of the house but of another blessing, the family members & friends gave blessings one by one and at 4:17pm, this being the combination of Tanisha & Jermaine’s birthdays (9/4, 12/17) Jermaine dropped to his knee to ask Tanisha for her hand in marriage. Through surprise and tears, she said YES (and repeated for those that didn’t hear her exclamation)!
And so, the wedding plans began! We were honored to be alongside these two on their journey to the alter. Tanisha wanted to incorporate bold colors in their attire, but wanted the rest of the wedding to feel like they stepped into heaven with all white everything; floral, linens, all the way down to the baby grand piano. Their ceremony was was very spiritual which reflected their deeply rooted love for the lord and each other and solidified their union with a unity cross ceremony.
Their wedding most certainly was a sheer representation of heaven but the most magical part of the day was seeing the love & happiness on their faces as they were officially pronounced husband & wife.
