Piedmont Park Engagement Session: Spotlight on OTE couple Dominique & Kelvin

It’s been a busy wedding planning season here at OneTouch Events, but not so busy that we’d miss out on this week’s OTE couple spotlight. Meet Dominique and Kelvin! The couple’s engagement session took place at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. We love how the duo coordinated their looks and picked such a naturally pretty location. It suits their personalities well and they definitely have some frame-worthy images from the session.

Kelvin, a Used Car Sales Department Director, and Dominique, a PSSW at a Juvenile Detention Center, met on Facebook through a mutual friend. Although Kelvin technically made the first move via a friend request, it wasn’t until a year later that Dominique slid into his inbox with a message. Apparently, it went down in the DM and the rest, as they say, is history!

Dominique was super proud of Kelvin’s proposal. She told us “My dad was coming into town from Maryland so he suggested that we have a barbecue get together for him because he had a stroke earlier in the year. As the day went on more and more people began to show up at the house. I still had no idea what was going on because I was busy hosting and cooking. My best friends ended up convincing me to go upstairs under the guise that they needed to talk to me. When we went back downstairs, there were more people, Luther Vandross was playing, and a picture slide show was looping on the TV. There was a chair in front of the TV and everyone was surrounded around the living room like an audience. He came into the living room with the ring and got on one knee. I started crying and he put the ring on my finger. I only remember him saying, you know I love you right? LOL”

They’re be hosting their ultra romantic country club wedding in Henry County on June 24, 2017. We can’t wait!
