Tanisha & Jermaine’s wedding was all about modern glamour. This couple is full of life- they’re a spiritual duo with natural, easy confidence and classic style. There wedding day at Ashton Gardens was a complete reflection on this too.
Tanisha’s dress gave us life! It was a heavenly blush shade with a lush, ruffled skirt, drop waist and beaded, lace embellished deep V bodice. Swoon doesn’t even begin to cover it. Between her dress, headpiece and shoes, we let out a few oohs and awes!
Jermaine’s two-toned black and white patterned suit was on point. Seriously fashion-forward GQ! We love how his groomsmen either wore two-toned navy blue + black suits, or solid black. The entire ensemble was stylish and modern. They all had effortless swagger!
The couple had a “first touch” instead of a first look (along with a couple quick photos). It was an intimate moment shared between the two before the ceremony, while still keeping with tradition to not allow Jermaine to see his bride before the vows.
We’re suckers for a crisp, bright, timeless floral color palette- and there is no doubt that all white delivers! The feel that Tanisha shared was that she wanted her guests to feel as if they stepped into Heaven. ALL of the flowers were incredible! Tanisha’s bouquet was a gorgeous mix of all white garden roses and calla lilies.
Bridesmaids bouquets were a pretty mix of bright pink hues – which popped beautifully with the navy blue dresses. They were the only “major” addition of color, which we thought was great placement.
For the ceremony, luxurious arrangements of orchids and hydrangea garland was draped at the end of each pew, while the altar was decorated with high and low arrangements of orchids, tulips, hydrangea and roses.
The reception details were stunning! The centerpieces were a mix of low floating candles, pillar candles in varying heights, tall crystal candelabras and all white florals on gold vessels. Tables were adorned with floral patterned white linen and textured gold glass chargers. It was all extremely romantic and luxe!
The sweetheart table was a show stopper- covered in orchids and candles, completed with modern white luster leather tufted chairs.
This was one of our favorite wedding designs of the year. The couple splurged on all the details that were a priority for them – which made for a once in a lifetime experience not just for them, but for their guests too!
It was an absolute pleasure planning this wedding and we’re thrilled for the newlyweds!
