When it comes to weddings in Birmingham, AL- they don’t get much more regal and refined than this! From the venue to the decor, every element was on point. A red carpet style wedding that literally graced the pages of a magazine.
Alicia and Kema knew that, above all, they wanted an over the top wedding celebration that offered a heightened guest experience, luxe design/details and a once-in-a-lifetime memory for them. There is no doubt they acheived that, and more.
The couple enlisted our help early on, as they were planning from Washington D.C. Although Birmingham was once home for Alicia, we could call this a destination wedding considering almost all of thier 96 guests traveled in to Alabama for the occasion. It was a lot of fun to help them implement their ideas, as well as brainstorm others that could make their magazine dreams come true.
We loved the choice in color palette- the deep purple (the couple’s favorite color) with hints of ice blue and white was exquisite.
They had so many amazing personal touches too! Including a 10-page magazine style program, a Jamacian inspired menu was (a nod to Kema’s heritage), and music blend with none other than their favorites-carribean, R&B & EDM.
Alicia and Kema are a power couple that loves fiercely and we know they have an enduring love that will take them far in life. It was awesome working with them.
We were thrilled to have this wedding featured in Birmingham Bride Wedding Magazine and on Alabama Life too!
