Bahamas Event Planner :: Joy’s 40th Birthday Flashback

As a Planner by nature, I have coordinated many girlfriend getaways and trips with family in the past, but it wasn’t until I met Joy and was challenged to pull together a 4-day multi-faceted birthday event in Nassau, Bahamas that I truly felt like an “International Planner”.

The Charge: Full planning of 4 distinct events from Welcome Reception to Private Beach affair for 40 guests.

The Challenge: A very busy VIP client who had very little time to check-in therefore a huge amount of trust went into my team’s ability to execute her vision on our own; without stepping foot on the sandy beaches of Paradise Island until a day before the event weekend.

The Result: A personalized event website, hotel lodging & travel logistics to/from the airport for guests, customized welcome gifts, Welcome Reception, Pool Party, Private Catamaran Cruise, VIP Party Access and Private Island Party complete with Junkanoo Rush band presenting our birthday girl with her custom designed cake.
