It’s OTE couple time! This week we’re spotlighting Sherri + Robert. If you follow us on Instagram, you may have already heard this story, but if not… read on!
Here’s a full circle moment…I (Jillian) first met Robert over 6 years ago when we both worked at Accenture as consultants. While planning my milestone bday party, I found out Robert was a Photographer and then I hired him for my party. Fast forward to last year after proposing to Sherri, he reached out about planning their wedding. After meeting Sherri and seeing how perfect they were together, they hired us!
How did they meet:
Went to Florida State together. She was in Library Science and he was in Engineering Program. They were friends but not much more. Eventually Robert moved to Atlanta to start working for Accenture. And Sherri was from Atlanta so she helped him get situated in the new city.
They eventually lost contact and probably about 2yrs ago, Robert emailed her and they started dating from there.
Robert says he was looking to get in contact with her for a while. Their first date was at the Movies, and she was a “napkin enthusiast” meaning that she would get tons of napkins even for just a small popcorn.
They have traveled a lot together.
The Engagement:
Went down to Centennial Olympic Park. They started with dinner at Cafe Intermezzo. After dinner, they went to the Ferris Wheel and he pulled the guy aside and asked the guy for anything special. He said that when they stopped at the top, the ferris wheel was rocking like crazy which Robert was a bit afraid of heights. Sherri was completely caught off guard.
This adorable engagement session took place at their proposal location, as well as Center for Civil & Human Rights in Downtown Atlanta.
Their August wedding was amazing (Sherri is the life of the party and Robert is her ever supportive rock) and we can’t wait to share it with you in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
