When it comes to lasting love, there’s one element one should always seek in a partner: Friendship.
Erica & Marcus not only found each other, but they found the truest form of friendship when they met, which bloomed into a beautiful relationship.
I love seeing my couples in love, but I love it even more when I can genuinely see how much they just get each other, and really work as a team.
Marcus & Erica spent some time living in different cities as friends then as career changes go, found them in the same city, finally as a couple enjoying the city’s live music scene and appropriately enough, partnering on do-it-yourself home projects. One in particular involved an old armoire which they decided to refinish it together. Well as time passed and schedules became involved, the project got put to the back burner and they just hadn’t gotten around to completing it just yet. One day Erica came home to find that Marcus had finished the armoire himself. As she opened it up, a gorgeous ring was inside waiting for her, and it was in that moment that Marcus asked her to marry him.
I loved the elegance of their wedding day, from her dress, his dashing white tux, to their fabulous floral centrepieces! This wedding was all around one of my favorites! Thanks for having me be a part of such a special time in your lives.
